Run a company of AI agents on your own computer or server

You can run a company of AI agents yourself. Each AI session you open becomes an employee with its own manual, and they work at the same time and message each other through one shared folder. It runs on your computer, with a server mode to keep it working around the clock. The AI Company System sets it up.

What “a company of AI agents” means

One chat with one AI forgets, waits for you, and does a single thing at a time. A company changes the shape: several AI sessions open at once, each with a fixed job such as Director, Research, Creative or Search. You give a request to the Director. It splits the work, hands it out, and checks what comes back before it reaches you.

Why it keeps working when you close a tab

The job does not live in the session. It lives in the employee's manual, plain markdown files in one folder. Close the tab, open another, type the phrase, and the new session becomes the same employee, with the same rules and the same notes.

On your computer or on a server

Your computer

Where it lives: a folder on your machine, no account needed. When it works: while the computer is on. What it costs: your AI plan, nothing else.

A rented server

Where it lives: your own Linux server, reached over SSH with a user that has sudo, prepared by one tool. The same code runs our own companies every day; the setup tool has not been tested on a buyer's server yet. When it works: around the clock, with your computer off. What it costs: your AI plan plus what your host charges.

The spending brake

Several AI sessions can burn through a plan fast, so the brakes come with the System. On a server, the spending brake measures every employee session from outside the AI and stops sessions when the company reaches its share of your plan, so no employee can skip it. On your computer you set budgets in a file, and a computer cannot measure what your other machines use of the same plan. On both, nothing goes outside, such as a post, an email, a live ad, a payment or a deploy, without your yes on the final version, and a key guard blocks any command or file that contains a written key.

What you need

Works with Claude Code today. Every employee is one Claude Code session, so you need Claude Code installed and logged in on a plan in your own name, plus Python 3.10 or newer and git. The install is tested on Linux. The engine is Python and should run on Windows and macOS, which are not tested, and server mode needs Linux.

Answer four questions

What the company is called and its short code; what it exists to do, who it is for and how it makes money, in your words; whether it is a brand, a product studio or a service company; and whether it runs on this computer or on a server.

It installs and creates the company

It installs the engine, the skill and the key guard, then builds the company folder with one manual per role and the first task list. It says what it did after each step and shows the exact error if one fails.

Where it stops

A company on your computer works only while the computer is on, so use a server if you want it running all day. Employees run on your own AI plan and stop at the limits you set, so a small plan means a slower company. You decide what the company is for: the System is the raw tool, and the idea is yours.

Questions

Can I run several AI agents that work together on my own computer?

Yes. With the AI Company System every AI session you open can become an employee by typing one phrase. The employees share one folder, leave each other messages and hand work over in writing, so they work at the same time instead of one chat doing everything.

Does it work while my computer is off?

Only in server mode. By default everything lives in a folder on your computer and runs while it is on. If you rent a server, your employees live there under their own user and keep working while your computer is off. You can start on your computer and move the same folder to a server later. The server setup tool is new and has not been tested on a buyer's server yet, so expect to fix small things with your AI.

Does it cost extra on top of my AI plan?

The employees run on your own AI plan, so what you spend on models is what the models cost. The System is US$497 once, or included in Ultra. A rented server, if you choose one, is paid to your host.
