What we collect, and why

Who we are

VibeDNA, based in Uruguay, runs vibedna.ai and the tools sold on it. For anything about your data, write to admin@vibedna.ai.

Your account

Signing in uses your email address, with a one-time link we email you or with your Google account. We keep the email and the dates you signed in, so your library, purchases and plan follow you.

Purchases and downloads

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, so we never see your card. We keep what you bought, your licence keys and the state of any plan.

When you download a file we record which file, when, your browser name and a one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself), to keep downloads tied to the right account.

Emails

Sign-in links, receipts and product updates are sent through Resend. If you leave your email for updates or a free download, we keep it to send exactly that. To stop them, write to admin@vibedna.ai and we remove you.

Measuring visits

We measure visits with Google Analytics and with our own visit log, which records the page you open, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, and the links and buttons you click. A first-party cookie keeps a random visitor id and a 30-minute session id, so a purchase can be matched to the visit that led to it. The visit log does not record your name or email; when you give us your email (to sign in, subscribe or buy), it is linked to that visit.

Where the law asks for consent first, as in Europe, none of this runs until you accept, and declining keeps it off. You can change your answer with Cookie choices at the bottom of every page.

The chat assistant

The chat on the site keeps the conversation so it can answer in context. Replies are written by an AI model from Anthropic. Do not share passwords or payment details in the chat.

AI images

If your plan includes AI images, the prompts you write and the images you make are kept in your account. Prompts are sent to a third-party AI image provider to make the image. The rules are at vibedna.ai/ai-terms.

Connecting your AI

If you connect your own AI app to VibeDNA, it signs in with your account after you press Allow, and it can see your library and the journals you own. It cannot buy anything or see payment details. Disconnecting it in your AI app ends that access.

Cookies and similar storage

Necessary: the sign-in session, and your cookie choice (kept in your browser).

Measurement, only with consent where required: Google Analytics cookies and our visitor and session ids.

We do not run advertising cookies on vibedna.ai.

Who processes data for us

Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (file storage), Polar (payments), Resend (email), Google (analytics), Anthropic (chat replies) and an AI image provider (AI images). Some of them process data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

Account, purchase and licence records stay while your account exists and as long as accounting and licences require. You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, its deletion, or that we stop a use of it: write to admin@vibedna.ai. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The site is not meant for children under 16. AI images require being 18 or older.
